Job Title: Senior Accountant / CPA – Renewable Energy & Real Estate Development

Location: Philippines (Remote)
Salary: $2,000 to $2500/mo net pay (paid bimonthly)
The Opportunity
As Summit 360 Solutions continues to expand its project pipeline and partnerships, we are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / CPA with a strong background in renewable energy or real estate development accounting.
This role will oversee day-to-day and project-level accounting, manage multi-entity structures, and provide leadership with accurate financial reporting and cash flow visibility. You’ll work directly with the CEO and cross-functional teams to ensure financial precision across development entities and provide data-driven insights that empower strategic decisions in a fast-paced renewable energy market.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Reporting
- Oversee and maintain the general ledger in Acumatica across multiple entities (HoldCo, DevCo, and project-level LLCs).
- Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements, project-level P&Ls, and balance sheets.
- Manage project billing, corporate expenses, and intercompany allocations.
- Support compliance and audit preparation as needed.
Project & Development Accounting
- Track and manage pre-construction development costs (land leases, engineering, permitting, interconnection, legal, etc.).
- Ensure accurate cost capitalization and allocation to project entities.
- Collaborate with development managers to maintain and reconcile project budgets.
Cash Flow & Financial Analysis
- Maintain and enhance cash flow models for project and corporate forecasting in Excel.
- Provide insights for funding needs, investor reporting, and project sales.
- Partner with leadership on financial modeling for new initiatives (e.g., battery storage).
Process & Systems
- Review and refine accounting workflows within Acumatica, Smart Payables, and Trailed.
- Collaborate with consultants and system integrators to improve automation and reporting (Power BI, middleware tools).
- Support planning for ERP system upgrades (targeted for 2026).
Transactional Oversight
- Manage ~100–150 annual landowner payments, vendor invoices, and employee reimbursements.
- Oversee payroll allocations through the company’s PEO (Extensis).
- Ensure timely AP/AR processing and documentation.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active CPA license or strong accounting background with U.S.-based companies.
- 10+ years of experience in real estate, renewable energy, or project-based accounting.
- Proven ability to manage multi-entity structures and intercompany transactions.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and project cost accounting principles.
- Advanced Excel skills (cash flow modeling, data validation; macros a plus).
- Experience with ERP systems (Acumatica, NetSuite, or similar).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a remote environment.
Preferred:
- Experience in solar or renewable energy development (community or utility-scale).
- Familiarity with Power BI, Smart Payables, or other modern accounting/reporting tools.
- Exposure to joint ventures or investor-backed project structures.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with executives and external partners.
